مراسم ازدواج آریایی — زیباترین پیوند دو روح
The word عقد (aqd) means "the bond" or "the contract" in Farsi — the sacred agreement between two souls. آریایی (Aryai) refers to the ancient Aryan-Iranian heritage, connecting the ceremony to the roots of Persian civilisation, stretching back more than three thousand years.
In this ceremony, love is not merely declared — it is sung. The bride and groom recite verses from the greatest Persian poets in history: Hafez, Rumi, Sa'di, and Omar Khayyam. Their words, written centuries ago, become the couple's own, as if time itself is blessing the union.
Unlike Western ceremonies, عقد آریایی is deeply communal. The family gathers close, the guests bear witness to poetry, and the room fills with an atmosphere that is simultaneously ancient and intimate.
عقد آریایی
Each element of عقد آریایی has a reason and a history. Here is what you will experience.
Candles represent the Zoroastrian sacred flame — purity, life, and eternal love. Their warm glow transforms any space into a sanctuary.
Low-lying ground fog fills the ceremony space — atmospheric and completely unlike anything guests expect from a wedding.
Vows drawn from the finest Persian poets. Words of Hafez and Rumi spoken by your lips, for your beloved, in this one irreplaceable moment.
Optional live tar or santour performance. Melodies that have moved Persian hearts for two thousand years, playing only for you.
عشق آمد خون نشست از جان من
روح را دیدم ولی پنهان من
— Rumi, Masnavi
In عقد آریایی, the vows are not invented for the occasion — they are discovered. Our officiant works with each couple to select Persian verses that perfectly express their unique love story.
Hafez writes about beauty and devotion. Rumi about longing and union. Sa'di about wisdom and tenderness. Each poet contributes something different — and together they give your ceremony a depth that no written vow can match.
Each couple's vow ceremony is entirely unique. We offer 12 curated verse selections and work with you to arrange a sequence that tells your story — not a generic one.

and how, in love, two souls are finally made whole."
Every ceremony follows the genuine traditions of عقد آریایی. We never dilute or simplify the cultural richness that makes this ceremony extraordinary.
Every couple receives a personal consultation to design their unique ceremony. We learn your story before we tell it in Persian poetry.
Every element is prepared before you arrive, so you can focus on the ceremony rather than the logistics.
Guests who have never heard Persian poetry spoken aloud leave talking about it. That is what we build toward.
